Editor's Verdict:

Demand Fitness is a website that allows you to download exercise videos and enjoy a gym-style fitness regime without leaving your home, which is ideal for gymnaphobes or anyone who is short of free time but still wants to stay in shape. Demand Fitness is literally that - fitness classes on demand.

The range of videos you can download and view is truly impressive. There's everything from Abs and core strengthening programs, to Cardio Kick boxing, Pilates, Road Warrior exercises (for long journeys) and "Balls and Bands" (don't ask). Demand Fitness even offers classes specially designed to promote pre/post natal fitness and flexibility training for the over 55's. Each class is rated at either beginner, intermediate or advanced level so there should be plenty of workouts suited to your ability level and current physical condition. Each class is taught by a professional fitness instructor with specialized expertise in a particular area; if you find a favorite instructor who really works for you it's even possible to search the exercise database just for classes taught by them.

Whilst the videos themselves are very much the main event, Demand Fitness also offers members a range of tools and extra features to help support their training regime. These include a Fitness Tracker for scheduling and recording your workouts and a Goal Tracker which will display your overall progress towards your long term objectives. Also available (to non-weekly subscribers) is a personalized health risk assessment option, which you can use to both ensure your chosen fitness program is safe for you and to learn about more general health risks you might benefit from avoiding. Lastly, the Demand Fitness website also features a range of community forums where you can connect with other members, swap health tips and share encouragement with like-minded individuals.

The range of different membership plans is just about right in terms of offering something to suit every need and pocket, and if you opt for the yearly membership plan you currently get one month free. Obviously, the longer term-plans represent better value for money, but they also offer more perks, such as greater freedom to download the videos and access to health risk assessments. In terms of value for money, the prices on offer here are reasonable but not exceptional, so you it might be worth shopping around by checking out some of the options in our top 10.

All in all, Demand Fitness has a lot to offer if you think exercise class videos will benefit your fitness regime. There are fitness websites out there that offer your an even wider range of benefits at even lower prices, but Demand Fitness is certainly a solid choice with much to recommend it.
