FitOrbit offers a trainer-based service. From $2 per day, your personal trainer will help you to set realistic goals, advise you on what to eat, help create meal and exercise plans, and be available for communication as often as you need it. The idea is that with professional support and guidance, you can achieve your fitness goals.
We were fairly convinced by the ideas put forward by Fit Orbit. They seemed to know what they were talking about and the trainers’ profiles were very impressive. When you first log in, you complete a quick quiz. This lets the Fit Orbit system know what kind of trainer you’re looking for, whether it’s someone who will be friendly and easygoing, or someone who is a bit more of a taskmaster.
The list of trainers is narrowed down based on your answers, and you are then presented with three choices. The trainers have a lot of experience and you can check out some of their expertise, photos and philosophies. From there, you choose which one you’d like to work with, and see how it pans out.
Your trainer will work closely with you to develop a realistic set of goals and exercises. You can then log your progress and this is sent to your trainer. They can subsequently analyze the information and make further suggestions. What’s more, if you want to talk to your trainer more often, that’s fine.
At just $2 a day, we feel that Fit Orbit offers excellent value for money. However, the system relies entirely on its trainers and there’s really no information around the site for you to get going on your own. As such, if your trainer delays in responding, or you wish to just try something out without consulting them, you’ll have to look on another website to find the information you need.
Coinciding with this lack of freely accessible information, there are no community features to this site. This can make the process feel a little isolated at times, which could make motivation hard to come by. The important thing to remember here is that your personal trainer is there to guide you and help motivate you, so you should try to fall back on them if you need to.
This site is ideal for anyone who has a little cash and is worried that they might not have the knowledge or motivation to keep going on a fitness regime. The trainers’ extensive experience is really reassuring, and the fact that each system is hand tailored for your needs is great. They also offer a money back guarantee if you’re not satisfied within 30 days.
